I samband med IAA Mobility 2025-mässan visade BMW Group upp Vision CE, en framtidsvision för elektrisk mobilitet i urbana miljöer.
Utöver sin utsläppsfria eldrift utmärker sig Vision CE genom att föraren inte behöver bära hjälm eller skyddskläder. Det ska ge en känsla av ökad frihet och ett mer avslappnat, lättsamt sätt att färdas. Med Vision CE sätts nya standarder för pendling och en emotionell, kreativ och fräsch tolkning av framtidens stadsmobilitet på två hjul.
För 25 år sedan lanserade BMW Motorrad C1 – en skoter som, tack vare sin säkerhetskonstruktion, gjorde det möjligt att köra utan hjälm och traditionella skyddskläder. Vision CE bygger vidare på denna grundidé.
Kärnan hos Vision CE är dess säkerhetskoncept: en metallrörskonstruktion, kallad ”the cage”. Tillsammans med en specialutformad sadel med säkerhetsbälte uppger BMW Motorrad att modellen erbjuder en säker och känslomässigt engagerande körupplevelse – utan behov av hjälm eller skyddskläder. Dessutom lyfter BMW fram fordonets balanseringsfunktion, som gör att Vision CE ska kunna hålla sig helt i balans när det står stilla.
